Synopsis:
A novel textbook describing current state-of-the-art shoulder arthroscopy. All authors are involved in a successful and established course on practical arthroscopy skills held twice yearly in the UK and this book is an extension of the course. There are two sections within the book, the first of which covers instrumentation and the second covers applications. The instrumentation section will include chapters on arthroscopic equipment, implants and materials, and knots and suture management. The applications section will cover diagnostic aspects (anatomy, theatre organisation, diagnostic routine), therapeutic aspects (subacromial decompression, ACJ resection, capsular release, debridement, calcific tendonitis) and reconstructive techniques (anterior labral repair, superior labral repair, posterior labral repair, capsulorraphy, cuff repair, biceps tenodesis).
